Ruth Duke Taylor age 84 of Gallatin passed away Wednesday February 17, 2010. Graveside service will be Monday February 22nd at 10:00 a.m. from Crestview Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday February 21st 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. until we leave for the cemetery at Alexander Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor was born in Trousdale County, Tennessee daughter of the late Edgar Lee Duke and Mamye Temple Clemons Duke. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Norman Taylor, one son Robert Leslie Taylor, one brother James R. Duke and two sisters; Reble Clark and Ruby Lee Chumbley. She is survived by one son Donald R. Taylor and Kelly of Lavergne, two grandchildren, Brandon and Jamie Taylor, one sister Mildred Allen of Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
