Molene Slayton age 63 of Gallatin passed away Sunday February 21, 2010. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Dickie Neal officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday February 23rd 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 12:00 until service time. She was born in Gallatin October 27, 1946 daughter of the late James Willie and Lillie Belle Harrison Slayton. She is survived by one son Daniel Ray Neal of McEwing, TN, two daughters, Sandra Lavena Measles of Sparta, TN, and Fancy Lynn Kelley of Gallatin, one brother Homer D. Slayton and wife Carol of Bethpage, sisters; Marlene Geisman of Gallatin, Lovie Belle Troutt of Florida and Patsy Neal of Lebanon, TN, five grandchildren, John Morgan, Ryan Lucas, Thomas Matthew, Matthew Neal and Dillon Neal and one great grandchild Chloe Elizabeth Vailes.
