Mary Helen Sledd age 92 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away Saturday July 3, 2010. Funeral service will be Thursday July 8th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Charles Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday July 7th 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Sledd was born in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee on July 8, 1917,daughter of the late Isaac Robinson and Hattie Young Robinson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two husbands, William Bates Woodard and Raymond Ray Sledd, two sons, William “Bill” Woodard, Roy Clyde Woodard, daughter Rebecca Sanford, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters Joann Kelley and husband Elzy of Kirbyville, TX and Shelbia Stithem and husband Dallas of Lebanon, TN, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
