He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores M. Young, daughter Dianne Young and her husband Syd Demovsky of Florida, son Donald Young and his wife Susan of Gallatin, grandchildren Carrie and her husband Dale Gray of New Jersey, and Todd Young and his wife Jaclyn of Chicago. Dan was a graduate of Northwestern University in Illinois, a retired Major in the US Air Force, and an executive in the food industry. He was a member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church.
