FAMILY HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME LOCATION
Lillye Clairbell Simpson age 98 of Bethpage passed away Saturday July 10, 2010. Funeral service will be Monday July 12th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Greg Wilson and Larry Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Bridge Cemetery with Justin Kelly, Kyle McKee, Stevie Moss, Ricky Templeton, Rocky Ratliff and Ricky Hodges serving as pallbearers. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 21, 1912 daughter of the late Obe and Sarah Caroline Brizendine Simpson. Mrs. Simpson was the first switchboard operator in Sulphura and a cook at Chestnut Grove School in Rock Bridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Talmadge Morgan Whitson, daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Whitson, son-in-law James Harvey Monday, grandson Rocky Ray Ratliff, all aunts, uncles, 1st cousins, and school friends. She is survived by a daughter Carolyn Ella Monday of Bethpage, adopted daughter, Betty Jo Hodges of Portland, four grandchildren, Jeffery and Karen Whitson, Denise and John McKee, Ronald Whitson and Margaret and Ricky Templeton, six great grandchildren, Shane and Cathy Whitson, Jaime and Rick Orrick, Kaleena McKee, Kyle Morgan McKee, Justin Kelly and Rocky and Tina Ratliff, and five great-great grandchildren, Claire Marie Park and Kelly, Jackson Morgan Whitson, Callie Mae Orrick, Piper Lynn Whitson and Madison Ann Ratliff.
