Rebecca Caldwell Stewart age 84 of Gallatin passed away Tuesday July 27, 2010. Funeral service will be Thursday July 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Terrell Somerville officiating. Interment will follow in the Gallatin Cemetery with James Sprouse, Shawn Wright, Dustin Cantrell, Wayne Denny, Roger Rochelle and Dustin Thompson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday July 28th 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Mrs. Stewart was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on November 8, 1925 daughter of the late James Franklin Caldwell and Rachel Dobbs Caldwell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Blakemore Stewart, and a grandson Brian Stewart. She is survived by her children, Bobby Stewart and wife Gayla of Portland, Thomas B. Stewart and wife Linda of Gallatin, and Jane Wright and husband David of Gallatin, brothers Bobby Caldwell and wife Elizabeth of New Brockton , AL, Joe Caldwell and wife Ruth of Gallatin, and Jimmy Caldwell and wife Faye of Gallatin, sisters, Freda Frazor and husband Jamie of Hendersonville, and Donna Ray of Portland, six grandchildren Tommy Stewart, Richie Stewart, Becky Stewart, Blake Stewart, Kellye Cantrell and husband Dustin and Mallory Stewart, and 10 great grandchildren.
